BENEFIT CONCERT

 

 

  Medair, the Verbier Festival, and the Rosey Concert Hall are joining forces for a benefit concert. All proceeds will contribute to Medair’s work supporting victims of conflicts, natural disasters, or forgotten crises.

 

 

BUILDING RESILIENCE: BECOMING STRONGER TO FACE THE NEXT CRISIS

This concert wishes to bring a message of hope for people in crisis. Medair works alongside the most vulnerable people such as Syrian refugees, malnourished children in South Sudan, and women who have been victims of sexual violence in DR Congo. Medair helps them survive crises, recover with dignity, and develop skills to build a better future.(for more information click here)

ARTISTS AND PROGRAMME

 

Sergei Babayan, renowned performer of romantic composers, Daniil Trifonov’s professor, and regular guest at the Verbier Festival, will accompany the Calidore String Quartet, former students of the Verbier Academy. They will play works of Maurice Ravel, Frederic Chopin, and Johannes Brahms.


Attendees of the concert will be given an opportunity to donate to Medair's mission.
